We must get busy and make it happen -- do all we can -- and then some." His presentation will be followed by a panel discussion about the Library Advocacy Now! campaign with Sally G. Reed, director of the Ames (Iowa) Public Library and author of "Saving Your Library; Getting, Using and Keeping the Power You Need," as moderator; Deborah Coleman, director of library/media technology at Barnwell (S.C.) His other books include "The Johnstown Flood", "The Great Bridge", "The Path Between the Seas", "Mornings on Horseback" and "Brave Companions." McCullough is host of PBS's "The American Experience." A new documentary biography of Franklin Roosevelt, narrated by McCullough, will be broadcast this fall. He is twice winner of the National Book Award and twice winner of the prestigious Frances Parkman Prize. McCullough has received the Samuel Eliot Morison award, the St. Louis Literary Award, the Cornelius Ryan Award and the New York Public Library Literary Lion Award.
