Subject: What is available in electronic encyclopedias? Hello, I am from a rather large hospital library. We are in the process of searching for an electronic encyclopedia for our patrons use. Does any one have information as to which encyclopedias are out there and which ones are favored for library use? Any other information you have, such as how to contact the publishers would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Barbara Attebery Technical Services Librarian Alton Ochsner Medical Library 1516 Jefferson Highway New Orleans, LA 70121 battebery@ochsner.org (504)842-3760 (2) ---------------------------------------------------------------- Date: Mon, 08 Sep 1997 10:01:12 -0500 From: Liz Dopp (Rochester Inst. of Tech.) The Advanced Book Exchange is very user-friendly and includes interesting features. It is also available on my list of vendor homepages on my department Website at: http://weber.u.washington.edu/~acqdiv/ I'm indebted to Tom Haydon of Wessex Books for bringing this omission to my attention. To date I haven't turned anything much up. Any suggestions of good resources, suppliers, catalogues, places to search or web sites would be terrific.
