One of the professors in the music department wants the library to purchase a video produced in Holland. The title is Symphonies #4 & 7 by Ludwig van Beethoven, produced by UNITEL FILM, Horant H. Hohlfeld exe. producer (OCLC #24056351). Where can I procure this video in 1/2" VHS NTSC format? Can anyone find the address for UNITEL FILMS? ANY help would be GREATLY appreciated! Evans (Lafayette College) Subject: Networked version of BIP+ Date: Thu, 22 Sep 1994 10:27:28 -0500 (CDT) The networked version of BIP+ was recently installed on our academic computer. It has been running well on the IBM and compatible (provided that they are at least 386 machines and level 5 or greater DOS). The heaviest use so far has been from the library, book store and several dozen faculty. We have experienced an intermittent bumping problem at several sites. Research projects in collection development or the compilation of bibliographies will not be supported by this fellowship. Award: $1000 cash and a citation donated by the Institute for Scientific Information. Deadline: December 1, 1994. Criteria: The proposals will be judged with an emphasis on the following: 1. Potential significance of the project to acquisitions or technical services work. 2. Originality and creativity. 3. Clarity and completeness of the proposal. 4. Evidence of an interest in scholarship (previous publication record). Applicants should submit a brief proposal (no more than five pages), double-spaced, which includes the following: 1. Description of research, travel, or writing project. 2. Schedule for project. 3. Estimate of expenses (e.g., travel, faxing, data analysis, computer time, photocopying) 4. Up-to-date curriculum vitae. Recipients of the fellowship are required to submit a report of their research results to ACRL for possible publication in C&RL News.
