Some are things we will add and a lot we won't. Our development office has said that, because donors may wish to take a tax deduction, we are to keep all donation items--wanted or not--for 2 years. The recent rash of generosity has made me wonder if other libraries are doing the same thing in cases where donors want to make the donation part of their tax deductions. Our gift policy leaves disposal of items up to the library, by the way--this request to keep is from college administration office. Storage space is available so far. Any feedback on what others are doing would be appreciated. Thanks! (2)---------------------------------------------------------------- From: Roger L. Presley (Georgia State U.)
