Subject: A "Must See" Conference Program for Serialists!

Please mark our conference itinerary for:

"Removing the Fence: Merging Print and Electronic Serials Workflows"
Sponsored by the ALCTS Continuing Resources Section (CRS) Acquisitions
Committee
Saturday, June 28
10:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
Anaheim Convention Center, Room 204B

Workflows developed by libraries in support of electronic resources
have often
been ad hoc and separate from long-established print workflows.
However, many
of the administrative tasks relevant to the electronic are not easily
separable from
the print and appropriate print-related workflows may already exist that
can more
effectively support the electronic. This program examines the
convergence of print
and electronic workflows from the viewpoints of the subscription agent,
the system
provider, and the library.

Gary Ives, moderator, Texas A&M University Libraries
Oliver Pesch, EBSCO Information Services
Georgia Fujikawa, Innovative Interfaces Inc.
Angie Ohler, University of Maryland
Clint Chamberlin, University of Texas
