Technical Services Workflows for E-content

The ALCTS Automated Acquisitions In-Process/Control Systems Discussion 
Group will hold a discussion at ALA in Anaheim on Sunday, June 29th 
from 10:30 - Noon in the Hyatt Regency, Salon II.

Our discussion topic for the Annual conference is Technical 
Services Workflows for E-content.  This is a continuation of our 
Mid-Winter topic, Vendor MARC Records for E-content.  Slides from 
our Mid-Winter discussion are posted on the ALCTS website at http://www.ala.org/ala/alcts/education/alctsceevents/alctsmw/08MWprogs.cfm.  
Our discussion at annual will focus on e-content delivery, workflows, and 
management.

The moderator for our discussion is Ruth Fischer from R2 Consulting.  
Panelists include:  Christopher Warnock, CEO and CTO, ebrary; October 
Ivins, Ivins eContent Solutions; Marty Jenkins, Head, Technical Services, 
Wright State University; Alison Morin, EBL; and Rebecca Culbertson, 
Shared Cataloging Program, California Digital Library, UC San Diego.
