Library Technician

SALARY RANGE: 38,953.00 - 50,634.00 USD per year

OPEN PERIOD: Friday, January 11, 2008 to Monday, February 11, 2008

SERIES & GRADE: GS-1411-07

POSITION INFORMATION: Full-Time Term position not to exceed  13 months - 
may be extended
up to a total of 4 years without further competition.

PROMOTION POTENTIAL: GS-7 DUTY LOCATIONS:   1 vacancy - Beltsville, MD

JOB SUMMARY:

Find Solutions to Agricultural Problems that Affect Americans Every Day, 
>From Field to Table

The Acquisitions and Collection Development Branch is responsible for
administering programs for collection development and acquisition of 
library
materials in various published formats and media in agriculture and related
sciences.  The incumbent will perform technical tasks in the creation of 
order,
acquisitions, and descriptive cataloging records for purchased and gift 
materials
in agriculture and related sciences.
