Job Description:

*Regional Manager (Eastern Canada)*

supplier of scholarly materials and services to Academic and Special 
Libraries. We are a fast-paced, team-oriented organization dedicated to 
the continuing development of our industry edge.

*_Essential Duties: _*

_ _

   * Maintain relationships with Academic and Special Library customers:

· Supervise collection development process between vendor and Library

· Act as a consultant to evaluate workflow solutions to increase 
customer efficiency

· Work closely with Customer Service team

· Communicate and interact with multiple departments to ensure customer 
satisfaction

· Proficiency on ordering, technical service and collection development 
applications and interfaces.

o Develop relationships and opportunities with non-customer libraries:

· Identify new sales opportunities

· Report and recommend opportunities at libraries including support in 
collecting and workflow enhancement

o Remain current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors:

· Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending 
professional conferences, reviewing professional publications, and 
establishing personal networks

   * Meet individual and team sales goals.
   * Complete required territorial reporting such as sales call
     reports, competitor data, and territorial strategy and expense
     reports.

*_Experience/Educational & Other Requirements: _*

   * Significant travel from home office to visit customers and
     prospects as well as to attend professional events.
   * Bachelor’s degree and significant experience working with
     libraries required; MLS preferred but not required.
