Subject: Problems with the ACQNET list?

In the 13 years I have managed ACQNET-L, we have been blessed with 
very few glitches in the distribution of the list. So I guess it's our 
turn to deal with the listserve gremlins.  On Sunday night I sent out
a message concerning a change in ACQflash moderator and other news - 
that message apparently has been delivered to select ACQNET subscribers 
multiple times, much to their annoyance! 

Some of you may be getting these duplicates and you don't know it
yet - you might be out of the office, on vacation, or simply not
paying attention to your email for whatever reason. If this is the case,
please accept my apologies after the fact.

It is my hope that the situation has been solved but I am really not sure
what caused the problem and I am not confident (yet) that it HAS been 
solved.  So - when you get THIS message, IF (and only IF) you get this 
message more than the normal number of times you expect- PLEASE LET ME KNOW- 
By contacting me directly at cookei_at_appstate.edu 
That will help us determine if the problem is still persisting and it 
might also help us determine if the problem is resident at App State or 
somewhere in the bowels of the Internet. 

While this is certainly an annoyance, I will point out that if ACQNET-L was 
an unmoderated list, the problem would have multiplied vastly and so thankfully
I've only heard from a handful of people.
