ALCTS Pre-Order and Pre-Catalog Searching Discussion Group

Topic: Into the Phone Booth!: Re-visioning for the (rest of the) 21st
Century

Speakers: perhaps you

Time: Monday, June 25, 1:30-3:30pm
Place: Washington Convention Center, Room 155

In Seattle, this group devoted part of its time to discussing something 
"crazy," but timely: widening its scope and...undergoing a name change.

Join us for a continuation of the discussion to assess new directions 
for the future and refine the fledgling proposal to emerge as the 
"Library Materials Workflow Discussion Group" or something similar.  

Midwinter attendees affirmed the group's emphasis on the coordination 
between technical services and other library functions such as
collection
development as well as a desire to maintain the number of active 
discussion groups within ALCTS offering a forum for acquisitions issues.

We invite you to participate in the group's reinvention process.
