SALARY RANGE: 91,407.00 - 118,828.00 USD per year
OPEN PERIOD: Thursday, January 26, 2006 to Thursday, February 23, 
2006
 
SERIES & GRADE: GS-1410-14
POSITION INFORMATION: Full-Time  Permanent 

PROMOTION POTENTIAL: GS-14
DUTY LOCATIONS:   1 vacancy - Beltsville, MD 

WHO MAY BE CONSIDERED:

hiring authorities. 
 
JOB SUMMARY:
  
Serves as the Head of the Acquisitions & Serials Branch and chief 
collection development officer, providing overall direction, 
coordination, and leadership in developing plans and policies for the 
production of the free world's largest resource collection of 
agricultural and related scientific and technical information.

This position is being announced under both Demonstration Project and 
Alternative Merit Promotion procedures.  Applicants with federal civil 
service competitive status who wish to be considered under both
