Subject: Last call for Samuel Lazerow Award Nominations

Friday, Dec. 2nd is the deadline to apply for the ACRL Samuel Lazerow
Fellowship Award for Research in Collections and Technical Services in
Academic and Research Libraries.  This award, a citation and $1000
sponsored by Thomson Scientific, seeks to foster advances in collections

or technical services by providing fellowships to librarians for travel 
or writing in those fields.  Nominations for the 2006 award must be 
submitted December 2, 2005.

If you know individuals who are deserving of this prestigious award, the
Lazerow Award committee will be accepting nominations until December 2,
2005. More information about the award can be found in the Awards
section
of the award can be found in the Awards section of the ACRL Web site,
www.ala.org/acrl.

Please forward this to other individuals or groups who may be
interested.
