ELECTRONIC RESOURCES LIBRARIAN - The State University of New York
College at Cortland is seeking a librarian to develop and maintain the
library's electronic and digital collections. Responsibilities include
manage contract negotiations for electronic and web-based products and
services, tracking expenditures and reporting data; develop electronic-
based information and resources including statistical analysis;
maintain library's EZProxy server; setup and maintenance of SFX;
responsible for the library's Archive collection; serve as liaison to
the distance learning program; and reference duties. Required
Qualifications: Master's degree in Library Science; demonstrated
experience or interest with technology such as automated library
systems, digital reference tools and networked environments; familiarity
with web-based technologies such as XHTML, CSS and JavaScript;
experience with database development, design and maintenance. Preferred
qualifications: second master's degree; experience with XML and XSL;
teaching or training experience; familiarity with Web accessibility,
usability and design standards, and with Unix and D-space; experience
with vendors, including contract negotiations. Review of applications
