Area Sales Manager(s)
Coutts Library Services, a major supplier of printed-and-e-books to
libraries, is expanding its US Sales Team. We seek candidates for Area
Managers for several different territories. Successful candidates will
have to demonstrate ability to manage a large geographic territory,
including trip planning, sales presentations, customer follow-up, and
internal reporting. Anticipate approximately 50% travel, which may
require occasional weekend travel. A track record of successful sales
to academic libraries is an absolute requirement. While a background
in bookselling is highly desirable, experience in sales to libraries
of other products/services will be considered. Experience in use and
demonstration of web interfaces is also highly desirable.
