Subject: Position Announcement
LIBRARY ASSOCIATES is seeking an Electronic Resources Librarian for a
law
firm located in San Francisco, California. This candidate must have 2-5
years of experience in either a Law Library or a Corporate Library.
RESPONSILIBITIES:
*Manage the firm's local electronic resources.
*Assist with administration of firm-wide contracts
*Administer passwords, cost recovery, and invoice/cost allocations.
*Establish and maintain relationships with vendors.
*Create and develop training and orientation programs for staff.
*Participate with others in developing and updating web content for the
firm's Intranet.
*Share reference and research responsibilities with other members of the
library staff.
*Work with the library's technical services staff to identify and
catalog
electronic and Internet resources.
QUALIFICATIONS:
MLS highly desirable but will consider information professionals with
strong
work experience and/or MLS recent or soon-to-be graduates.
Previous library experience in a law or corporate library preferred.
