ACQUISITIONS LIBRARIAN
William Paterson University of New Jersey
Wayne, NJ
Reporting to the Assistant Director of Resource Management, the
Acquisitions Librarian is responsible for all aspects of ordering,
receiving and payment of material. Establishes acquisition goals,
workflow
and priorities in close collaboration with other departments. Manages
the
acquisitions budget within the library's integrated system and the
University's accounting system. Supervises 3 full-time employees and
fosters a customer service environment. Participates in the User
Education
and Collection Development programs. Salary range begins at $42,527.
Required Qualification: ALA-accredited MLS; excellent communication and
interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively both independently and
as
a team member. Preferred: Supervisory experience, web-authoring skills,
coursework or experience with cataloging or MARC format. Application
