Subject: Chronicle of Higher Ed plans article on Directory scams
If ACQNET subscribers would like to share horror stories of directory and other
telephone order scams, a reporter at the _Chronicle of Higher Education_ is
working on a story. Send your anecdotes to Scott Carlson at:
scott.carlson_at_chronicle.com
In relation to this and all other traffic on the list, be aware (most of you know
this) that the ACQNET-L archives found on www.acqweb.org are public. Which means
that anything you post may get indexed in search engines and can be seen by... well,
anyone. Which is why ACQNET-L has such a thorough editorial policy. Which, by the
way, will be getting updated soon, as we usually do this time of year.
Happy New Year!
Eleanor Cook
Chief Editor, ACQNET-L
