Subject: Online sales of gift books

The University Library at Sonoma State University is evaluating new
options
for selling gift and withdrawn books. Will you take a moment to give us
a
short summary of your experience with online book sales? Responses can
be
sent to me directly and I will summarize for the list.

A few of our questions:

How did your library select an online bookseller?

Do you use more than one bookselling avenue and, if so, why?

Are you happy with your choices of bookseller(s)?

Has income increased with online sales?

Do you have a policy/procedure document for selling the process? If so,
may
we see a copy?

Overall, your current approach to sales worth the effort?

Any additional comments are welcome.

Thank you, in advance, for any insights you can provide.
