"ALCTS Committee Volunteer Opportunities and Responsibilities"
Interested in serving on an ALCTS division or section committee? Plan on
attending a volunteer forum organized by the ALCTS Leadership
Development
Committee at the ALA Midwinter Meeting in Boston on Saturday, January
15,
2005 from 9:30-11:00 a.m. at the Marriott, Grand Ballroom J/K.
The elected officers who are responsible for making committee
appointments
for 2005/2006 will discuss the committee appointment process and
highlight
the opportunities available for ALCTS members.
Presenters will include Rosann Bazirjian, ALCTS President-Elect and the
Chairs-Elect of the Acquisitions, Cataloging and Classification,
Collection
Management and Development, Preservation and Reformatting, and Serials
Sections and the Council of Regional Groups.
Non-members interested in joining ALCTS are welcome to attend.
Attendees will have ample opportunity to meet the presenters!
