From: ACQNET Editorial Board
Subject: Coutts to assume Franklin Book Company's orders
Coutts Library Services recently distributed a letter that includes the
following information:
"Most ACQNET readers are aware of the recent abrupt closing of Franklin
Book
Co., Inc. ... Within the last few days, we have come to an agreement
that
allows Coutts to have access to Franklin 's systems and customer lists,
including their approval plan profiles, open firm orders and standing
orders.
Coutts is prepared, and fully capable, to fill all orders placed with
Franklin Book, both firm and standing, and to maintain FBC approval plan
profiles."
Affected libraries are encouraged to contact Coutts
(http://couttsinfo.com)
for further information.
