Subject: Call for Nominations: Leadership in Library Acquisitions Award
Leadership in Library Acquisitions Award
Nominations are now being accepted for the 2005 Leadership in Library
Acquisitions Award.
This award is made annually to recognize the contributions and
outstanding
leadership of an individual, or individuals, in the field of
acquisitions
librarianship. The award includes a cash grant of $1,500 provided by
Harrassowitz.
Letters of nomination together with at least two letters of support for
the
nomination and a copy of the nominee's resume should be submitted to
Pamela
Bluh, chair of the Leadership in Library Acquisitions Award Jury at
pbluh_at_umaryland.edu no later than December 1, 2004. Selection
criteria,
submission procedures and a list of previous award winners may be found
on
the ALCTS website at
