Good afternoon,
A colleague and I are writing a book proposal and are looking for contributors. The book focuses on
providing practical job and career advice for new graduates and new professionals (1-2 yrs) in academic
and public libraries. This book will relate the experiences of practicing librarians covering various areas of
librarianship.
The areas include:
Section I

Instruction
Collection Development
Liaison Activities
Other Public Services (circulation, document delivery, chat reference,
email reference, etc.)

Special Areas (special collections, gov docs, etc.)

Time management
Organizational Politics
Dealing with technology
Please let me know if you or anyone else might be interested in writing one of the above chapters.
