Serials Librarian position available, National Library of Medicine,
Bethesda, MD
The National Library of Medicine http://www.nlm.nih.gov/ has an opening
for
a full-time, permanent serials librarian position located in the
Acquisitions
Unit of the Serial Records Section. The Serial Records Section is
responsible
for acquiring over 20,000 biomedical serial subscriptions in print,
electronic and mixed media formats. Duties of this position include a
variety
of acquisitions activities for serials in all formats. The position
requires
knowledge of print and electronic serials; and the ability to assess,
develop
and implement technology to promote the successful management of
serials.
Candidates should possess excellent organizational and analytical
skills,
work well in teams both as a member and a leader, and be able to work
flexibly in a rapidly changing environment and to contribute to change.

Grade: GS 9/11 with promotion potential to GS 12
Salary range: $41,815.00 - $65,769
