Acquisitions librarians and acquisitions processes have functioned in an

such
an environment requires identifying future trends, guiding staff through
the
changes and assessing the impact of these trends on the organization.
This
program will focus on tools to manage and identify technology-based
changes.
It will be of interest to acquisition librarians, collection development
librarians, heads of technical services, and heads of cataloging.
Speakers: Karen Calhoun, Associate University Librarian for Technical
Services, Cornell University; James Mouw, Acquisitions Librarian, Univ.
of
Chicago; Stefanie Wittenbach, Head of Acquisitions, Univ. of California-
Riverside.
This program is sponsored by Haworth Press.
