Nominations sought for 2004
Leadership In Library Acquisitions Award
Nominations are being accepted for the 2004 Association for Library
Collections & Technical Services (ALCTS) Leadership In Library Acquisitions
Award.
This award is given to recognize an individual for high achievement,
contributions and outstanding leadership in the field of acquisitions
librarianship. The recipient receives a cash grant of $1500 donated by
Harrassowitz.
Nominees will have demonstrated achievement in the field of acquisitions as
evidenced by one or more of the following:
? contributions to professional associations;
? contributions to the literature including research;
? contributions to the education of acquisitions professionals; and/or
? contributions to the advancement of the profession.
Nominate your colleagues to reward their excellence! It's easy. Submit a
letter of nomination; find at least one other person to write a supporting
letter; provide the nominees resume or cv.

contact Nancy Slight-Gibney, Chair of the Leadership in Library
Acquisitions Award Committee. The deadline for submission is December 1,
2003.
