The first issue of the 26th volume of the American Association of Law
Libraries', The CRIV Sheet (the Newsletter of the Committee on Relations
with Information Vendors) is in the final stages of production.  It will
appear in the November issue of AALL Spectrum.  Among the articles you'll
find in it are a few summaries of Seattle education programs, an article by
Jill Porter (PLI) titled "What You Should Know about Business Systems," an
article by former TCS editor Ken Svengalis titled, "Law Library Responses
to Rising Serials Costs," and an interview with the Anne Poulter, editor of
AALL's Price Index for Legal Publications, 2d.

The CRIV Sheet is always looking for authors and ideas for articles.  If you
have an idea for an article you would like to write, or would like us to
supply you with one, please contact one of the co-editors.  The deadlines
for the remaining issues of volume 26 are as follows:

Articles for the February 2004 issue need to be in the co-editors' hands
by: November 26, 2003

Articles for the May 2004 issue need to be in the co-editors' hands by:
February 25, 2004.
