librarian to select biomedical monographs, serials, and other resources in
print and electronic format.

Reading knowledge of French, Spanish, Italian, or Portuguese is required.
U.S. citizenship is required.

Recruitment period : 9/15/2003-10/14/2003
Grade: GS 9/11/12
Salary range: $ 40,044.00 - $ 75,492.00.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities (KSAs):
1. Skill at establishing and maintaining professional relationships in the
workplace and with external clientele.
2. Ability to write collection development policy statements or  collection
assessment studies.
3. Ability to edit MARC data in integrated library systems or bibliographic
utilities, and to utilize computer software.
4. Knowledge of the scholarly, scientific and professional literature of
life sciences, medicine, chemistry, public health, or related fields, in
print and on the World Wide Web.
