JOB ANNOUNCEMENT: Library Technician I
San Diego County Public Law Library

Library Technician I: Immediate opening for a full-time position in the
Technical Services department at the Main location of the San Diego
County Public Law Library. This position assists in the timely
ordering, payment, and receipt of law library materials. Must be detail
oriented, posses excellent communication skills, be flexible in a
changing electronic environment, be able to multi-task and prioritize
effectively, and work in a team atmosphere.
Requirements: Under the direction of the Associate Director for
Technical Services this position requires a bachelors degree, plus
ordering and/or acquisitions experience. Must have strong computer
skills, and working knowledge of WordPerfect/Word and Excel.
Experience in ordering and processing law library materials is
preferred. A knowledge of acquisitions and serials using Innovative
Interfaces’ or similar ILS are strongly desired.
Salary: $28,907-$31,125; excellent benefits, including health,
retirement, vacation and sick leave; flexible work schedules.
