Subject: Call for Poster Presentations (deadline extended)

The NASIG Program Planning Committee is hoping to get a few more poster
proposals for the 2003 conference and is thus extending the deadline for
poster submissions until 21 March 2003.

Posters are excellent presentation venues for those new to presenting, or
for those in the preliminary stages of data collection or analysis in a
research project.

CALL FOR POSTERS

The North American Serials Interest Group (NASIG) is currently seeking
proposals for posters to presented at the Eighteenth Annual Conference to be
held at Portland State University in Portland, Oregon, on June 26-29, 2003.
Poster sessions provide an opportunity to share innovative ideas and new
applications of technology. They may present a report of a research study,
an analysis of a practical problem-solving effort, or a description of an
innovative program that may be of interest to the serials community. In
keeping with NASIG's tradition of non-commercialism, poster sessions
focusing solely on a commercial product will not be accepted.

SUBMISSION PROCEDURE: Proposals for posters can be submitted online at
http://www.nasig.org/public/timedated/2003poster.htm. Guidelines for NASIG
poster presentations can be found at
http://www.nasig.org/public/timedated/postersguidelines.html.

APPLICATION DEADLINE: Poster proposals must be submitted by Friday, March
21,
2003. Those submitting will be notified by April 4, 2003 as to the
acceptance
of their proposal.

FOR FURTHER INFORMATION: Questions may be directed to the NASIG Program
Planning Committee Co-Chairs at prog-plan_at_nasig.org.
