Subject: Survey on Ejournal Holdings

[NOTE FROM EDITOR: Please respond directly to Les Hawkins, not to ACQNET.]

This message is being sent to multiple lists; please excuse the
duplication.

Dear Colleagues,

The CONSER Task Force on Electronic Serials Holdings is surveying the
library community to find out how libraries manage their electronic
serials holdings data, and how they view the potential need for holdings
and pattern data for electronic serials. The survey includes a background
section and a questionnaire.

The survey is available on the CONSER Web site at:
http://www.loc.gov/acq/conser/e-serholdsurv.html

Please send in your response by Friday, March 28. Detailed survey
results will be posted on the CONSER Publication Pattern Initiative web
site, and a brief summary will be sent to this discussion list. Based
on the results of the survey and further investigation, a recommendation
for potential directions will be developed for the Publication Pattern
Initiative.

Thank you in advance for taking the time to consider this important
issue and responding to the survey.

Sent by Les Hawkins (lhaw_at_loc.gov) on behalf of Yumin Jiang, chair, CONSER
Task Force on Electronic Serials Holdings
