Subject: Discussion Group Meeting Announcement

MEETING ANNOUNCEMENT  ALA PHILADELPHIA

The ACRL Media Resources Discussion Group will be holding a
Midwinter meeting on Sunday, January 26 from 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM.
The Meeting will be held in the Philadelphia Marriott, Room 304.

Topics for Discussion include:

The Patriot Act and it's implications for library services.
President Freedman's campaign to raise librarian's salaries.
The budget crisis on the state and national level.

Looking ahead to our meeting in Toronto, we will touch on some
issues of digital preservation and offer some projects for study between 
now and our discussion in June.

There will be an open mic, so bring any other topic you want to discuss
with your fellow colleagues.
