Subject: Call for Program Proposals
Good Morning,
I am on the Program sub-committee for the 2004 Public Library Assoc.
National Conference in Seattle, Washington from February 24 - 28.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR MORE TECHNICAL SERVICES PROGRAMMING.
I have read previous postings describing some of the discussion groups that
will occur during ALA Mid-Winter and I think almost any one of these topics
could be developed into a program for PLA 2004.
As a public library person, I am very interested in hearing from both public
and academic librarians for different perspectives and strategies.
At this time, proposals must be sponsored by an ALA committee, division or
affiliate and must be submitted online by January 31, 2003.
Feel free to contact me for information at: bcampos_at_ci.pasadena.ca.us
Here is the official announcement from PLA:

later deadline in the summer.
