FORT LAUDERDALE, FLORIDA
Position:
The Assistant Head of Collection & Bibliographic Services-Serials and
Acquisitions coordinates the acquisition of all library resources and all
serials activities, including receiving, processing, claiming and binding.
This position provides the appropriate reports to the Department Head and
works with the Collection Development Task Force to do collection
assessments, planning and purchases. This position will also provide
reference service, prepare bibliographies, and serve as a faculty liaison.
This position reports to the Assistant University Librarian for Technical
Services/Head of Law Library Collection and Bibliographic Services.
Required:
An M.L.S. from an ALA accredited library school with a minimum of three
years of library or related experience with an extensive background in
integrated library systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
J.D. from an ABA accredited law school;
Experience using OCLC, Innovative Interfaces and SCT Banner; and
Law library experience
Salary/Benefits:
