Subject: Call for Articles

As a guest editor of The Acquisitions Librarian, I would like to invite 
readers to submit articles for publication in a journal issue on 
selection of library materials. The issue will include subjects of 
interest in academic and public libraries: anything from business 
to zoology to fine arts to political science. The majority of articles 
will focus on selecting materials in a specific subject area. Some 
will discuss other selection-related topics. Co-authored articles are 
welcome.

Articles should include evaluations of resources based on their use 
as selection tools.

After the journal issue appears, it will be published as a book.   

If you will be able to write for this issue, please let me know 
by Sept. 15, 2002. I will then send you more detailed guidelines 
on format and the type of article needed. Please submit your 
completed article by December 1, 2002. My contact information 
appears below.
