Subject: Position Announcement

Franklin Book Co., Inc., a Philadelphia-based supplier of books to
libraries, seeks to fill outside sales positions in several geographic
territories in the eastern half of the U.S. Successful applicants can be
expected to travel at least half-time, visiting current and prospective
library customers, as well as attending a variety of national library
conferences during the year.

This work requires knowledge of the range of services book-jobbers provide
to libraries. FBC sales representatives are expected to produce increased
sales, while conducting themselves as professional colleagues within the
library community. We seek candidates with self-confidence, ability to
work independently, good account management skills, and a record of
increased sales as a result of past efforts. Those without direct library
sales experience need not apply. While a degree in library science is
desirable, it is not required.

If working for one of the few companies actually experiencing growth in
the library bookselling industry interests you, please send a resume and
salary requirements to:

All inquires will be held in strict confidence. Franklin Book Company is
an equal opportunity employer. We encourage all qualified candidates to
apply.
