Subject: Workshop Announcement
The Berkman Center for Internet & Society at Harvard Law School is
pleased to announce that registration is now open for its third
semi-annual Internet Law Program. This year's Program includes a
session on "The Internet and Developing Countries"; a debate between a
representative of Microsoft Corp. and Lawrence Lessig on open source
software; and a panel discussion of Eldred v. Ashcroft, now slated for
hearing before the U.S. Supreme Court. We invite members of your
firm to join us as we explore today's most pressing Internet issues.
The Program begins with an optional online instructional phase during
the month of June, followed by an intensive residential program held
at the Law School July 1-5. It concludes with an opportunity for
participants to continue interacting in online moderated discussion
forums for the remainder of July. Faculty for the program include
Professors William Fisher III, Charles Nesson and Jonathan Zittrain
of Harvard, Lawrence Lessig of Stanford, and Yochai Benkler of NYU.
No previous experience with Internet law is necessary to enroll.
