The ALCTS Acquisitions Section's Acquisitions Librarians/Vendors of Library
Materials Discussion Group presents:

THE WORLD OF E-BOOKS TODAY: WHAT DOES IT MEAN TODAY FOR PUBLISHERS,
LIBRARIES, AND VENDORS?

What issues are confronting publishers as they consider providing content
electronically? What models and delivery methods are publishers developing
for electronic content?  What are the economic implications?  What future
developments are anticipated?  What does all this mean for libraries,
vendors of library materials, and library system vendors?

Please join our distinguished panel of industry experts who will provide an
informed glimpse into the current world of ebooks, and explore roles for
librarians and vendors in that world.
